The Low Snowboard Bench has a similar rugged outdoor look to the trail bench, but is a bit simpler and without a back rest.  This bench easily works indoor or out with its narrow footprint and low profile.

 

Our standard outdoor treatment is as follows:  The snowboard bench body is crafted from cedar wood that has been sanded, and all edges are rounded or chamfered.  The legs are constructed of notched and bolted 4x4's.  Stainless steel screws and galvanized bolts are used for durability and protection from the elements.  An indoor option is available as well which can be painted or stained to match your decor (shown above). 

 

Snowboards used for the seat are cleaned, polished, and the edges are ground.  Recycled snowboards are all used and have some wear but they generally clean-up quite well.

Colors:  Select a color scheme that works for you.  Color preference in the drop down will be the dominant color in the snowboard as graphics are often multi-colored.  Or select No Preference and let us choose one for you.  Feel free to contact us if you have specific requests.

 

Finishing:  Our chairs come in unfinished cedar wood.  Cedar is very rot resistant on its own but will weather to a soft gray over time.  More about cedar here.  If you want to prevent this or add some additional protection to the wood, we recommend a finish.  Finish options are listed here, or add on the Penofin Exterior stain above.
